Kathmandu – Dakshinkali Municipality, in collaboration with Genese Solution, has officially launched the Dakshinkali Innovation Center, marking a significant step towards empowering youth through structured cloud and technology career pathways.

Inaugurating the Center, Mayor Mohan Basnet appreciated Genese Solution’s continued efforts in training youth in IT skills and helping them to be employable in the market. “Such training not only turns our youth into a future-ready workforce, it also helps in nation building,” he said.

The event was also attended by Deputy Mayor Shiva Maya Dangol, Genese Solution Executive Director and former AIGP Nepal Police Bhim Prasad Dhakal, Genese VP (Pre-Sales) Amit Joshi, and Genese Training Division Head Dipak Raj Silwal.

Under the initiative, Genese Solution and Dakshinkali Municipality have formalized a commitment to build structured cloud and technology career pathways for 50 young individuals. The program aims to move youth from potential to profession by providing industry-aligned training, internship opportunities, and job placement support.

Genese Solution has previously successfully organised similar Training, Internship, and Job Placement programs at Arun Gaupalika in Bhojpur district, Kageshwori Manahara Municipality in Kathmandu and Birendranagar Municipality, and Bheriganga Municipality in Surkhet district, contributing significantly to local employment generation and digital skill development.

This initiative reflects a deliberate effort to build sustainable career ecosystems at the municipal level and strengthen Nepal’s future workforce, Genese Solution said.
