NRNA UPDATE: Legal Delay at Supreme Court, 44 NCC Elections Concluded

London- Despite expectations for a legal hearing at Nepal’s Supreme Court regarding the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) today, the case could not move forward, as it was once again placed under the “non-reviewable” category. This has delayed legal proceedings related to the organization, leaving several pending issues unresolved.
In the meantime, organizational preparations for the 12th Global General Assembly of NRNA, scheduled for October 2025, are progressing. So far, 44 National Coordination Councils (NCCs) have successfully completed their elections. The remaining NCCs are expected to hold elections by July 31, ensuring global participation.
The newly elected leadership teams have received warm congratulations and best wishes from the NRNA International Coordination Council (ICC).
