Subodh Foundation UK Donates Sound System to Bhakti Club York

York, United Kingdom, 19 December 2025 – Subodh Foundation UK formally handed over a sound system with wireless microphones to ISKCON-affiliated Bhakti Club York during a handover ceremony held at the Heslington Meeting Room, Heslington, York.

The ceremony was attended by HG Tribhangananda Das, a disciple of Srila Prabhupada, and Ganesh Thapa, Leader of Bhakti Centre York. The donation marks a significant contribution by Subodh Foundation UK towards supporting the spiritual and community activities of Bhakti Club York.

The sound system, valued at £1,021.45, is expected to play an important role in promoting spiritual life and Krishna consciousness within the local community. It will support programmes such as bhajans, kirtans, lectures, and community gatherings.

HG Tribhangananda Das expressed his appreciation for the donation, highlighting the need for a quality sound system. He noted that it would play a vital role in spreading Krishna consciousness, a movement increasingly observed across the UK and worldwide, and would help enhance devotional practices while reaching a wider audience.


The programme began with a devotional bhajan, followed by the formal presentation of the sound system by Subodh Foundation UK. Representatives from ISKCON York shared messages of appreciation, while Subodh Timilsina, Chair of Trustees and Founder of Subodh Foundation UK, reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to community service and cultural enrichment.

Speaking on the occasion, Subodh Timilsina praised the work of Bhakti Club York and expressed his honour in supporting its initiatives. He highlighted the club’s contribution to spiritual upliftment and community engagement and expressed confidence that the sound system would enhance the quality and reach of its spiritual programmes.


The event also featured a spiritual lecture by HG Tribhangananda Das, followed by an uplifting Kirtan Dance. The programme concluded with a Prasadam Feast, bringing together devotees and community members in a spirit of gratitude and fellowship.

The event reflected a shared vision between Subodh Foundation UK and ISKCON York to promote spiritual growth, cultural values, and community harmony through charitable collaboration.
