Sangita Swechcha Performs at London Event Celebrating Global Poetry Anthology


London, UK – 23 July 2026: Nepali writer and poet Sangita Swechcha performed at a London event celebrating a global poetry anthology featuring poets from many parts of the world.
Held at Exhibit in Balham, London, the event brought together poets and poetry enthusiasts in person, while poets from many parts of the world also joined live via Zoom.
Sangita Swechcha was among the contributing poets featured in the anthology, with her poem “Elapsed Time” included in the collection. Her participation represented Nepal among a diverse range of international literary voices.
Organised by Lost Souls Events, the event provided a platform for contributors and poetry enthusiasts to connect and celebrate the anthology across geographical and cultural boundaries.
Speaking about the event, organiser Hanna Stanislaus said, “Having people join us both in person and live on Zoom from different parts of the world showed the power of poetry to bring people together across borders. It was wonderful to celebrate such a diverse selection of poets and their work in one shared space.”

Through her contribution to the anthology and her performance at the London event, Sangita Swechcha continues to represent Nepal in the international literary community.
