Subodh Foundation UK launches ‘Talk2Grow’ with inaugural session on ‘The Power of Networking’

London – Subodh Foundation UK successfully launched its new professional development series, Talk2Grow, with its inaugural session titled “The Power of Networking”, bringing together students and young professionals for an evening of learning, discussion and meaningful engagement.

The keynote session was delivered by Er. Subodh Timilsina, Director of PMPS Consulting, who shared insights from over three decades of experience in civil engineering, project management and leadership. The presentation explored the importance of professional networking and emphasised that successful networking is built on trust, authenticity and long-term relationships rather than simply exchanging contact details.

During the session, participants learned that strong professional networks can open doors to career opportunities, mentorship, collaboration and personal development. The discussion also highlighted the importance of effective communication, maintaining professional relationships and continuously expanding one’s network throughout a career.

The programme was followed by an interactive social engagement session, facilitated by Ms. Ajeena Timilsina, Trustee of Subodh Foundation UK. The session encouraged participants to exchange ideas, share experiences and discuss practical approaches to building professional relationships in today’s competitive job market.

One of the key outcomes of the discussion was the growing importance of maintaining a professional presence on LinkedIn. Participants highlighted that LinkedIn serves not only as an online professional profile but also as a platform to connect with industry professionals, build credibility, showcase achievements and engage with organisations within their desired fields of work.

The discussion further reinforced the value of developing genuine professional relationships through regular communication, mutual support and active engagement within professional communities.

The event concluded with an open networking session, providing attendees with an opportunity to connect directly with fellow participants, exchange ideas and establish new professional contacts.

Talk2Grow is a weekly initiative organised by Subodh Foundation UK to strengthen communication, public speaking, confidence and networking skills among young professionals and students.
